What is this about?
It's a training program (not a team) to train those interested in learning Level 7 / Premier skills
How does it work?
Athletes will train for 6 weekends over the next year to learn Level 7 skills. The weekends will involve mostly stunting but some tumbling training as well.
What is the cost?
The cost for each athlete is $35 to try-out, and $260 for those who make the program.
What experience do I need?
Stunting experience at Level 4 or higher is strongly recommended.
What if I cannot come to the try-out?
If you're not able to come to the try-out but still want to be part of the program, please register, and we will contact you to submit a video of your skills.
Do I need a stunt group to try out?
Coming with a set stunt group is not a mandatory requirement, but it is STRONGLY encouraged you come with your group of 4-6 athletes to be ready to learn to stunt. Individual athletes may also be chosen for the program based on needs/skills.
Who are the coaches?
The CNS Coaches will be announced soon. CNS has also partnered with Cheer Factory to deliver these training sessions (3/6 sessions will be with Cheer Factory and CNS coaches; the remaining 3/6 will be hosted by CNS Coaches).
Where will the sessions be held?
While not all locations have been confirmed, they will likely be in the HRM area.
Tell me about Cheer Factory.
Cheer Factory has many expert coaches and athletes experienced at Level 7. For more information, see https://cheerfactoryinc.com.
What is the goal for this season?
CNS's goal for this program is to ready athletes who are interested in working towards competing at the highest level of cheerleading. Stunt groups may individually decide to try out for Team Canada Premier in the future or just learn new skills.

How old do I have to be?
Birth years of 2010 or earlier are welcome to attend.
What if I can't make all the sessions?
It can significantly impact the ability of your stunt group to properly train if you're not present. You must be able to commit to a minimum of 80% of the time. Please make ALL efforts to attend all sessions.
Will there be demonstrations/performances?
Depending on the progress of the program, a demonstration of skills by certain stunt groups may be performed at CNS Provincials 2026.
