Requirements
In order to be credentialed with Cheer Nova Scotia, in addition to course/testing requirements, you must also be:
at least 16 years of age for levels 1 & 2
must be 18 years of age for levels 3+
must be a current CNS/Cheer Canada member
with SAFETY at the forefront of mind, CNS implemented a credentialing system that allows for proper progressions as a coach, testing for ONE level at a time, with exception of levels 1 and 2:
Levels 1 & 2
You do not need to have coaching experience, and you can credential for BOTH Building and Tumbling at the same time
Level 3
100 hours at level 2, for either Building and/or Tumbling (depending on what you are being tested on)
Level 4:Â
75 hours at level 3, for either Building and/or Tumbling (depending on what you are being tested on)
Level 5/6: hours at level 4, for either Building and/or Tumbling (depending on what you are being tested on)
Level 7: 75 hours at level 5/6, for either Building and/or Tumbling (depending on what you are being tested on)
